Prosecutors are set to indict Nissan Motor Co. on Monday for allegedly making false statements in financial reports, investigative sources said Friday.
Carlos Ghosn, former chairman of the Japanese carmaker, has been arrested on suspicion of understating the scale of his remuneration during the five years from fiscal 2010. He has denied the charge, according to the sources.
Prosecutors will also decide Monday whether to indict Ghosn.
