Trump arrives in Singapore for summit with Kim Jong Un

U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Singapore on Sunday for his upcoming historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Air Force One landed at Paya Lebar Air Base, a military facility in the east of the island, around 8:30 p.m. Singapore time as scheduled.

Trump and Kim are slated to meet Tuesday on Singapore’s southern island of Sentosa for the first-ever summit between the United States and North Korea, with the focus on whether they will alleviate security tensions and eliminate the threat of war.
